Miles Hanson

Miles spent nearly 20 years marketing retail and consumer brands in the UK and globally. He worked with marketing communications consultancy The Marketing Store for 17 years where his career took him around the world and he became the European CEO.

Miles set up The Collaboration Company in 2004 to
help organisations, and people within organisations,
to collaborate more effectively. He had recognised that leaders in organisations everywhere were increasingly calling for more collaboration but were finding it difficult
to kick start a real change of behaviours in their people and teams.

The company has grown fast and has become Miles’ lifework. It is helping to inspire real, authentic collaboration within a wide range of organisations
and across all sectors.

Miles takes a lead role in helping organisations and teams to generate collaborative solutions for their projects, in developing collaborative leadership skills
in senior teams and in designing and facilitating collaborative work sessions.

He is recognised as an expert on collaboration
and regularly speaks at conferences. Miles enjoys
the country life with his wife and three children in
rural Leicestershire.

Pippa Handford

Pippa’s key role at The Collaboration Company is to
plan and oversee the smooth running of all projects and events. She is also responsible for the planning and development of the Ideathon Main Programme which involves engaging with charity and corporate partners.  Pippa works very closely with Miles on the session design for all collaborative projects and is a key member of the facilitation support team.

Outside of her work at The Collaboration Company, Pippa also enjoys the country life - riding her horse, walking the dog and cuddling up with her cat!
